- Weather: Perfect again!
- Work: none today. Nine hours yesterday
- Exercise: Surprisingly none. Tomorrow for sure!
- Food: Toast, one poached egg; 1/2 Subway BLT sandwich; pesto pasta at Cafe Veloce (yum!) and I'm eating a small bowl of vanilla ice cream right now
- Beverages: Diet Dr.Pepper, Snapple, two glasses water, one cup of coffee
- Money Spent: $2o on Subway sandwiches for us to take to Ty and Kingas; $20 at Great Harvest
- Accomplishments: Got our honey harvested today! Got about two gallons which should be about 20 bottles. Very excited and grateful to our bees.
- Mood: Happy and relaxed
- Concerns: When oh when am I going to get up and exercise?
- Grateful for: Our new little family member Savanna who has brought so much joy to the family just by being; Ty and Kinga for being such great, generous parents; Scott and Cindy for being great friends (we had a fun Italian dinner out tonight)
- Aha's!: Glen is already changing from just one conservation class. He is already more mindful about what he is leaving on and turning off.
- Notes: We had a wonderful time at Ty and Kinga's this afternoon. Miranda was fitting in so well (the nanny) and Ty and Kinga are natural parents that were so generous letting me hold Savanna and helping Glen harvest our honey. It was a wonderful, relaxing, easy Saturday afternoon.

Fall! Fabulous Fall
I love how much fun is connected to this season. There are harvest events, Halloween cornfields, friday night football games and Thanksgiving and Christmas plans to be made. Weekend days can be sunny and invite you outside to crunch in the leaves or wet and gray and you stay in all day. I like it both ways!
In fact, fall makes October my favorite month of the year. I like to savor every day and I think they all go too fast. Before you know it, time will have flown by and January will be here -- my least favorite month of the year but we'll talk about it when it gets here. : )
Meanwhile, what's your favorite season? Are you a fall girl too? A summer kind of guy? Do you love the first buds of spring? Or does cold winter days spent skiing and snowman-making rock your world?
For me, it will always be fabulous, fun- filled, fall! Live to have fun!

First day of fall
My favorite season has arrived!
Day: Tuesday, September 22
Weather: The best first day of fall ever! 82 degrees
Work: nine hours today
Food: A boiled egg; homemade banana muffin; Lean Cuisine; and two pieces of toast with cream cheese and salmon
Beverages: two glasses of water; one Snapple; one tall cup of coffee
Exercise: A fabulous walk after work with Glen and Dandy -- long loop
Mood: Excellent and happy
Accomplishments: reviewed Glen's homework with him
Money Spent: Absolutely none
Thankful for: A safe day. I started my day out in a multiple car pile-up from the sun being in drivers eyes and I didn't get hit! It was a really lucky thing.
Aha's!: I like being married. Most the time I already know that but I've gotten fonder of it and more comfortable as I've gotten older. Today, with the car thing, it was nice to have Glen to be able to talk to about it.
Concerns: I am a little worried about one of my good friends. She doesn't seem happy lately.
Other/Notes: I love this time of year!! My favorite season is here!

- Other/Things to Note: I had a grand soak in the hot tub this afternoon. In Iceland we found out they call them "hotpots." : )

The Plan
Well, I am looking to shed some pounds -- again. And I'd like to make it a permanent loss for a change. And I know that means I need to make some changes. So, I'm thinking, maybe this would help. Maybe this change can help lead to that change and that change could help lead to other positive changes. I mean what the heck? I've got nothing to lose -- but pounds!
But I'm also thinking that, like everyone, I'm about a lot of things past pounds and I'd like to track some of those other things. So welcome to some of the details of my life -- feel free to share yours. Join me!
- Day: Saturday
- Weather: Pouring! Gray and wet after beautiful sunny days. Loved it!
- Work: None today
- Food: leftover chowder for breakfast; salad for lunch; 4 pieces of licorice;
- Beverages: one skinny vanilla latte; one coffee; one Diet Peach Snapple
- Exercise: absolutely none : O
- Pounds lost: ha!
- Mood: positive, rested, happy
- Accomplisments: got my vacation photos downloaded; got my blog updated; got this new blog launched; got the house cleaned up after the big party last night
- Money spent: $70 at Target on a bunch of stuff including Dan Brown's new book and canning jars
- Concerns: Getting the right sugar water mix for my buzzy bees
- Thankful for: So much! Today, I especially love the gift of this lazy, hazy, grayzy day that helped us feel good about staying in. Plus, the Huskies and the Cougars won!
- Ahas!: I have this fun idea for a potluck dinner party. Have all the guests bring a dish from the Pillsbury Bakeoff. I'm going to work on it soon.
- Other/Things to Note: I love my family and friends. All together I call them my tribe and I am part of a really great tribe
